					  The best swimming beaches on Vieques are on the south coast, and Casa Camilla provides easy access to those beaches via a short drive.  The house was sparkling clean... read more with a fully-equipped kitchen, bath/beach towels, and some snorkeling equipment.  We especially appreciated having a washer/dryer, so we didn't need to pack a lot of clothes for our vacation.  The outdoor shower is another nice touch, to avoid tracking the black sand from Playa Negra into the house.  The neighborhood is quiet, with the exception of coqui tree frogs singing in the evening, and a few roosters to announce the sunrise.  We had a pleasant walk from the house to the waterfront strip of restaurants in Esperanza one evening.   We'll definitely visit again.
